Endeavoring to be Accessible and Affordable

I know times are hard for many of us, especially those of us in the healing, caregiving, or social justice professions (or those of us studying to be in these professions). I’m trying to triangulate the right rates given (1) my own needs; (2) the costs associated with making Deep Ocean available; (3) the value of my work; and (4) the reality that regularly scheduled quality counseling is increasingly unaffordable for most. I join the many who cannot afford counseling at the going market rates in the San Francisco Bay Area. The rates listed here are my best attempt to meet all these considerations. I regret and understand that they are still inaccessible to some. In light of that, if you cannot afford the rate in the category you fall under, please reach out to me: I will do my best to make spiritual counseling accessible to you at a sliding scale. Similarly, if you can afford the standard rate, even if you are a resident or student, I would ask that you pay it so I can make a sliding scale available for those who need it. Access is ever a work in progress, but it is a north star I am walking towards. Thank you for your collaboration to that ends!
